Main policy


All BLKTEC products are covered by a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers all manufacturing defects and applies only to the original owner.

Crash replacement policy


In the case of issues not related to manufacturing defects, BLKTEC will provide support by offering a replacement rim at 50% of the retail price.

Returning a BLKTEC product


The return of BLKTEC products for examination is the responsibility of the customer. They must assume shipping costs, and ensure that the product is properly packaged and, if necessary,  insured. The invoice should also be included along with contact details that include name, address, email and phone number.


IMPORTANT: If you return a wheel to BLKTEC, please ensure you’ve removed the tubular/clincher tyre, sprockets and the quick-release skewer.



Warranty limitation


The BLKTEC warranty exclusively covers manufacturing defects. It excludes cover for any damage or defect deemed to have resulted directly or indirectly from improper use, failure to abide by user instructions or a lack of maintenance.


The BLKTEC warranty does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is defined as damage that results from normal use while riding under recommended conditions.


Parts subjected to wear and tear include:


IMPORTANT: Always use BLKTEC carbon brake pads with BLKTEC full carbon wheels. Always change the carbon brake pads when intending to ride with wheel rims not made from carbon. Failure to do so may result in debris on the wheel rim becoming stuck in the carbon brake pads. This results in irreparable damage to the carbon rim and the voiding of the warranty.
